In the Hills Fishing Excursions is a full time fly fishing guide service, located on the banks of the Guadalupe
River. It has been family owned and operated since 2001. Founded by Bill Higdon, In the Hills Fishing Excursions
was one of the first fly fishing guide services on the Guadalupe River.

We are now offering guided fly fishing excursions on Lady Bird Lake, located in beautiful downtown Austin. This is a
warm water excursion targeting lager mouth bass, small mouth bass and perch. Lunch for these excursions will include your

TROUT FISHING EXCURSIONS
We offer guided Excursions for rainbow, palamino, and less
common brown trout on the tail-waters of the Guadalupe River, below Canyon Lake. The typical fish caught range from six to
eighteen inches.
Full day excursions include: all flies, stream side lunch, snacks and refreshments. There is a maximum of two
anglers per trip. Accomodations may be made for additional anglers. Please contact us so that we may help you create the perfect

All Anglers must
have a current Texas fishing license and freshwater stamp. Every angler needs to bring waders, felt soled boots, hat,
polarized sunglasses, and sunscreen.

Our rates are $375 a day for two anglers.
Rods, reels and other equipment amy be rented at a rate of $25 per day per angler.
